Concerts can be geared toward the needs of the venue whether it’s the lush sounds of a full pops orchestra or the Big Band Era using 5-10 musicians. If you are looking for a more intimate feeling, the shows retain their energy and drive with the engaging duo of vocals and piano accompaniment.
With the exception of Alaska, Karen’s work has been seen in every state at performing arts venues, festivals, WWII Veterans activities, benefits, and corporate events working with such companies as Frito-Lay, Dr. Pepper, Wilsonart, The American Bible Society, B.F. Goodrich, J.C. Penney and the Texas Credit Union. Aside from Karen’s concert work, her performing background encompasses Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, Las Vegas, Regional Theatres, Shakespeare in the Park, Cruise Ships, TV, Film, Industrials, Commercials, Jingles, and even the U.S. Capitol. She has shared the stage with such show business luminaries as Richard Harris, Robert Goulet, Sandy Duncan, Frank Gorshin, and Christopher Hewitt.
Karen felt it important her debut CD should be Singing For Victory—Songs of WWII which will soon be released on the 2T Label. It stems from her love of the 1940’s and appreciation of the efforts of The Greatest Generation.
